Pit Viper 235

Designed for efficiency and productivity

The Pit Viper series 235 blast hole drill offers new technological innovations for many applications including hard rock mining for metals and overburden coal mining. Introduced at MINExpo 2008, the PV-235 offers four major areas of advancement - high productivity, accessibility, servicability and operator comfort.

Main features
  • High Productivity - Single-pass 40 ft (12.2 m) drilling increases overall footage without adding rods. Optional Rig Control System (RCS) offers automation when leveling, drilling, machine data collection and GPS positioning over the next hole.

  • Accessibility - With walkway access around the machine, the PV-235 has more deck space than any other Atlas Copco drill. For safety and convenience, there are more ladder options and more lights have been added outside the cab for night work.

  • Operator Comfort - The PV-235's total cab redesign with integrated air conditioning elevates the level of operator comfort. Joystick controls are located on the seat armrests providing the operator fingertip control at all times. The new window location, operator seat position and camera monitoring system offers added safety and visibility.
